I was very glad to hear this open mic gaffe. The republicans are scarily adept at staying on message. I'm pretty sure rule #1 in Karl Rove's playbook is to never say anything negative about your own candidate.
I liked your previous post, maryanne. I didn't watch the Palin speech, or any of the republican convention for that matter. My psyche could not tolerate the assault. I'm grateful to those who can withstand the venom and share the news.

I think it's probably healtier NOT to watch. anyway, I am trying to bring my energies elsewhere now, away from so much toxicity!
